“What else do I need to know?”
In all cases you need to know:
How many shares you have options on?
The strike price of the option (the price the you must pay for the underlying shares of stock).
What the vesting schedule for these options is (meaning when are they yours to exercise and profit from)?
When the options expire (meaning if you don’t exercise before that date the options become worthless)?
What is the current price of the underlying stock and where do I find that?
