We provide an instruction letter that has a spot to track your payments. If you could keep track of everything on that sheet, simply give us that sheet (like everything we will return it).
Alternatively enter the amounts paid on sheet 20.
Do not say “I paid whatever you suggested”, or worse yet, assume that we assume that you paid everything as prescribed. It is important to know what you paid and when so please let us know.
Please give us the dates of payment if they did not match the payment schedule - ESPECIALLY important for that 4th quarter state payment.
Don’t confuse us by telling us about the 4th quarter federal payment that you made for the previous tax year, paid in January of the tax year we are working on. Hopefully we took credit for that last year and certainly don’t want to try again.
